Not only is Clapham Junction Station the UK’S busiest rail station but in recent years reports are that it is indeed Europe’s busiest Station in terms of rail traffic with over 2000 trains passing through each day.
Many routes from London’s two busiest terminals, London Waterloo and London Victoria, pass through the station making it one of the busiest in Europe by number of trains using it, more than one hundred an hour outside peak periods.

There are two tube stations in the Battersea & Clapham area. The nearest is Wandsworth Town which is about 10-15mins walk to ‘The Hill’ or if you choose Clapham Common you can get the 37 bus from St Johns Hill straight to Clapham Common tube station.
